Winners of the Wales Business Awards 2025 revealed!
The Wales Business Awards 2025, hosted by Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid, honoured the nation’s most innovative and successful businesses last night at a prestigious ceremony held at Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.
The evening, compered by broadcaster Andrea Byrne, brought together organisations from across Wales to celebrate excellence, innovation, and resilience in business.
Twelve exceptional winners were recognised across 12 award categories, with one standout company also taking home the coveted title of Wales Business of the Year 2025, presented by headline sponsor Bevan Buckland LLP.
Leading the celebrations was Concrete Canvas Ltd, a Pontyclun-based manufacturer specialising in geosynthetic solutions for civil engineering. The firm not only claimed the Global Business of the Year Award 2025, but was also named Wales Business of the Year, marking a major milestone in its journey of global growth and innovation.
Exporting 90% of its products worldwide, Concrete Canvas impressed judges with its bold expansion strategy and commitment to developing sustainable, cutting-edge products—strengthening Wales’ status as a centre for pioneering manufacturing and green technologies.
Peter Brewin, Director at Concrete Canvas, commented: “We are truly honoured and thrilled to be recognised at the Wales Business Awards. This award is a testament to our incredible team whose efforts this year have been nothing short of extraordinary. We’ve introduced new technologies, expanded into 90 countries, and are proud that 85% of our turnover this year came from international exports.”
