Welsh motoring comparison platform Brumble is targeting £15 million in annual revenue by 2030 after expanding from a single-product startup into a multi-service marketplace in less than a year.
Founded by former Admiral employee Ryan Hughes and launched in November 2025, the business has introduced seven new products and services in the past eight months while recording 182% month-on-month sales growth.
Originally focused on car insurance comparison, Brumble now offers van insurance comparison, car finance comparison, vehicle affordability tools, car-selling services and a growing range of motoring products.
The company aims to differentiate itself from established comparison websites by focusing exclusively on motorists rather than offering products across multiple sectors.
Ryan Hughes said: “Comparison is second nature for UK consumers, but most platforms try to serve everyone, from broadband to energy to credit cards. Brumble is built exclusively around the car.
“We don’t just help drivers compare insurance, we give them free tools, expert guides and a single destination for the products they actually need as motorists.”
Brumble is entering a highly competitive market dominated by major comparison brands that collectively generate more than £1.5 billion in annual revenues. However, the company believes specialist platforms can secure market share by offering more tailored services.
The business has set a target of capturing 1% of the UK comparison market by 2030, which it estimates would generate around £15 million in annual revenue.
Alongside expanding its product range, Brumble is positioning itself for changes in how consumers search for financial products, with growing use of generative AI and conversational search expected to reshape online comparison.
Hughes said: “The way consumers find and compare products is changing fast.
“The brands that win in this next phase will be the ones with unique data insights, genuinely useful tools and expert content that demonstrates real sector knowledge. That’s exactly what we’re building at Brumble.
“We’re not just optimising for traditional search, we’re making sure that when an AI recommends where to compare car insurance or find vehicle finance, Brumble is the answer.”
To support its growth plans, Brumble is combining organic content, AI-focused distribution, paid marketing and strategic partnerships as it looks to establish itself as a specialist motoring marketplace.
Hughes added: “Our goal is to become the UK’s go-to platform for anything car related. That might sound ambitious for a business launched eight months ago, but we’re growing quickly, we’re disciplined and lean.
“Every product we launch and tool we build gets us closer to making Brumble the first place drivers go when they need help with their car.”
