Redkite Solicitors continue their regional expansion by acquiring the established Penarth-based legal practice, Alan Simons & Co.
Continuity has been the focus of this new development, with the Penarth office proceeding with operations with its existing team, including former Alan Simons & Co partner Chris Davison, who now joins Redkite as a Partner.
The firm operates 19 offices across Wales and the South West and, with this move, Alan Simons & Co clients will be able to access a broader range of legal services, including corporate and commercial law, employment, commercial property, dispute resolution, family law, and more.
This aligns with Redkite Solicitors’ aim of having the Penarth office retain its local focus and longstanding community engagement while benefiting from the wider resources of the larger practice.
The acquisition forms part of Redkite Solicitors’ wider growth plan across Wales and the South West, with a continued focus on client service and community engagement.
Neil Walker, CEO at Redkite Solicitors said: “We are delighted to welcome Alan Simons & Co to Redkite Solicitors. This is an important step in our continued growth, strengthening our presence in communities we are proud to serve. What matters most is that clients in Penarth will continue to see the same trusted people and the same personalised service, now supported by the strength and breadth of a larger firm”.
Chris Davison, Redkite Solicitors Partner said: “We have always been proud to serve the Penarth community, and that remains unchanged. Joining Redkite Solicitors allows us to build on that legacy, combining our local expertise with access to a much wider range of legal services for our clients. It is a positive step for our team and our clients, and we are excited about the future”.
