The Background

Founded by Julian Phillips, The Cold Room was established with a clear goal: to create a dedicated wellness and recovery centre that offers cutting-edge treatments to individuals looking to improve their health, performance, and wellbeing.

Based in South Wales, the facility combines a range of advanced therapies under one roof, including cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infrared sauna, compression therapy and LED light therapy. Together, these services provide a comprehensive approach to recovery and wellness in a purpose-built environment.

Having known Dan Barton, Head of Direct at Hexa Finance, for several years, Julian got in touch during the fit-out phase of the project to discuss funding options and explore how finance could support the launch of the business.

The Requirements
