Swansea and Pontardawe care service earns triple Excellent rating

Achieve together’s West Glamorgan teams have received the highest possible rating across all three inspection areas following a Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) review of its domiciliary support service in Swansea and Pontardawe.

The service was rated Excellent for Wellbeing, Care and Support, and Leadership and Management, recognising the quality of support provided to people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs across South Wales.

Inspectors praised the service’s person-centred approach, highlighting its focus on helping people make their own choices, maintain independence and achieve the outcomes that matter to them.

The inspection also recognised strong safeguarding, medication management and governance arrangements, alongside a well-trained and committed workforce.

Achieve together said the findings reflect its focus on maintaining high standards of care while supporting people to remain safe, healthy and independent in their communities.
