Savills Cardiff names leading homeless charity as their 2026 charity of the year

Savills Cardiff has announced Wales’ homelessness charity, The Wallich, as its charity of the year for 2026.

The Cardiff-based property consultancy will have their employees supporting the organisation through a programme of fundraising and volunteering initiatives across the year.

According to data, more than 10,000 people in Wales are currently without a permanent home, with many in temporary accommodation or B&Bs, and at least 150 people sleeping on the streets.

This number is likely to be significantly higher when considering sofa surfing and rural homelessness.

The Wallich supports a significant amount of those experiencing homelessness, with services such as their Rough Sleepers Intervention Team, accommodation, and learning and employment projects.

These contribute to their core objectives of getting and keeping people off the streets and creating opportunities for them.
