In just over a year, Onebox Business Supplies has made a bold mark in the business supplies industry, proving that speed, service and sustainability can go hand in hand.
Founded in 2024 by directors with decades of industry experience, Onebox has grown rapidly thanks to its unique value proposition and commitment to doing business differently.
From the outset, Onebox has stood out as a carbon neutral business, working with Carbon Neutral Britain to offset its footprint. This isn’t just a token gesture, it’s a selling point that’s already helped attract new clients.
“There’s not many business supplies companies out there that are carbon neutral,” Peter Edwards explains. “Being a new company with a smaller fleet etc., it certainly has helped in enabling us to become carbon neutral. We’ve been approaching companies and if they’ve got a chance to buy from a carbon neutral business or a non-carbon neutral business — if we can offer the same quality of product at the correct price then why not come on board? That’s worked really well.”
Onebox offsets contribute to tree planting projects in the UK, a key reason they chose Carbon Neutral Britain as their partner. “They offered us several plans, and putting trees back into the UK won it for us,” says Peter.
As the name suggests, Onebox can supply almost anything a business might need, from stationery and workwear to office furniture, merchandise and printing all in one box. And there’s more to come.
“We’ve got a new product category actually coming in the next couple of weeks, which we’re excited to announce,” Peter says. That new category? Managed print services, complete with a carbon neutral proposition to match Onebox’s core values.
“It goes hand in hand really with selling business supplies,” Peter explains. “Any of our clients that have got current copier deals or printer deals which they lease on a monthly basis. We can look at that for them. We’ve got a carbon neutral proposition for our clients on that as well.”
Onebox’s customer base is wide-ranging, from SMEs to blue-chip corporates. “Literally we supply anyone who buys any business supplies product,” says Peter. “We’ve been targeting large, well-known businesses, both locally and nationally. We feel as though if we can get those on board, then we can offer those names to prospective customers and that’s been going really well.”
The shift to hybrid working after COVID-19 changed buying patterns across many industries, but Onebox has adapted by expanding its product scope. “For example, we sold EV fire blankets to a national car dealership in the last three months,” Peter says. “They approached us, we won the bid, and we’re now going to push those products for future sales. At the end of the day it’s a business supply spend that we can help with, and they get one invoice for all their products as opposed to multiple.”
With continuous growth since launch, Onebox is planning to expand its sales team and extend its national reach. “We want to have national presence across the UK,” Peter says. “Our business model allows that to happen very easily. You can work with Onebox anywhere in the UK.”
In just 14 months, Onebox Business Supplies has shown that a fresh approach, built on decades of experience, can disrupt even the most established industries. By combining comprehensive supply capabilities with a genuine environmental commitment, they’re proving that greener, smarter business is possible, and profitable.
