A new sports commercial and social agency has launched in Cardiff with ambitions to transform the way rights-holders, teams, players, and brands connect with fans.
OffPitch Sports International, founded by industry veterans Mikey Rowe and Huw Warren, aims to combine sponsorship sales, partnership development, and social-first digital content under one values-led approach. Between them, Rowe and Warren bring more than 25 years of experience in sport, social media, and brand partnerships.
The agency is built on three core principles: honesty, integrity, and authenticity, which Rowe said would set it apart from traditional sports marketing firms.
“Too often in sport, agencies overpromise and underdeliver. At OffPitch, we’re changing that,” said Rowe. “We believe in transparency, accountability, and delivering real results. Our role is simple: bring together excellent brands and rights-holders, and tell their stories in the right way.”
OffPitch is headquartered in Wales but has already worked on projects with a global reach. Early clients include Wales Golf, sustainable sportswear brand Reflo, the Icons Series, and the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia, alongside partnerships spanning American football, cricket, football, and rugby. The founders said more client announcements are expected in the coming months.
Warren highlighted how shifting fan expectations are reshaping commercial activity across sport.
“The commercial and social media landscape is shifting fast. Fans expect authenticity, not just sales messages. We help brands and players build deeper connections with their communities through sport,” said Warren.
