North Wales-based housebuilder Castle Green Homes has reported a record year of growth, doubling its housing output while achieving its highest-ever customer satisfaction scores.

Headquartered in St Asaph and Preston Brook, the business has published landmark financial results for the year ended March 2025, alongside plans to deliver 1,000 homes a year by 2030.

Castle Green has undergone rapid expansion since its management buyout in 2020, backed by Bridgemere UK.

Formerly a regional builder, the company has grown into a major operator across North Wales and the North West of England.

During the year, Castle Green doubled its annual output from 291 homes in 2024 to 602 in 2025, split almost evenly between its Homes and Partnerships brands.

Of these, 289 were affordable homes delivered in partnership with housing associations including Adra, Clwyd Alyn and Torus.

The increase in activity drove turnover up 92% year on year to £168.2m, while pre-tax profit rose 157% to £10.3m.

Despite the scale of growth, the company said maintaining high standards of customer care remained central to its strategy.

Castle Green achieved a 97.2% customer satisfaction score, securing a five-star rating from the Home Builders Federation.

Chief executive Gwyn Jones said: “The story of the year is simple: records, records, records. But none of it matters unless our customers feel valued.

“We’ve stayed true to our high standards throughout rapid growth – and that’s what we’re most proud of.

“These results belong to our people, whose dedication delivers outstanding customer experiences day after day.”

For the current financial year, Castle Green expects to deliver around 600 homes, with longer-term ambitions to reach 1,000 homes annually by 2030.

The company’s workforce has also grown, increasing from 100 employees in 2024 to 135 in 2025, with further job creation anticipated as new developments come forward.

Jones added: “We’ve proven what Castle Green can achieve, and now we’re building on that platform.

“Future growth means more jobs, more community investment and more quality homes for the people who need them.”
