Nodor Group, the Bridgend-based global leader in darts equipment, has appointed Tom Brown as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will take up the role in October 2025.

Brown, who has more than 25 years’ experience leading international consumer brands, joins from SharkNinja, where he was President for EMEA and part of the executive team that took the business public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2023. His previous roles include senior positions at Jabra (GN), SteelSeries, TomTom and House of Fraser.

At Nodor, Brown will be tasked with accelerating the company’s international expansion and driving innovation across its portfolio of brands, which includes Winmau and Red Dragon. The appointment comes after Nodor’s recent acquisition of AutoDarts, a digital scoring platform that has already connected more than 85,000 players worldwide.

Backed by private equity firm Inflexion, the company says Brown’s leadership will be central to making darts “the most accessible and connected global sport”.

Greg Nieuwenhuys, Chair of Nodor, said: “With the acquisition of AutoDarts and our portfolio of iconic brands Winmau and Red Dragon, we are ideally positioned to take the sport into a new era. Tom brings the vision, energy and proven track record to accelerate performance and unlock new growth opportunities.”

Outgoing Managing Director Vince Buck, who will remain on the board as a non-executive director alongside his wife Fiona, commented: “It has been a privilege to lead Nodor through a period of strong growth. I’m hugely proud of what our family has achieved over the last 50 years, and Fiona and I are excited to continue supporting Tom and the leadership team as they expand our portfolio and global reach.”

Brown said he was “honoured” to join the company at what he described as a “transformative moment”:

“With world-class brands, a heritage of craftsmanship, and breakthrough innovations like Auto Scoring, the company is uniquely placed to inspire and connect players everywhere. I look forward to working with our team of over 1,900 associates to build on this foundation and drive the next wave of growth.”

Founded in 1919, Nodor supplies premium dartboards, darts and accessories used by professionals in all Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments, as well as amateurs across more than 100 countries.
