Lovell secures two Bronze awards for south Wales developments

Lovell has received two Bronze awards at the 2026 Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards, recognising its approach to construction at developments in Portskewett and Cardiff.

The awards were given to Elderwood Parc in Portskewett and the former Lansdowne Hospital site in Canton, Cardiff.

The CCS National Site Awards recognise construction projects that demonstrate high standards under the organisation’s Code of Considerate Practice, including respect for local communities, care for the environment and support for the workforce.

Elderwood Parc comprises 269 new homes and the Severn View Park Care Home. The scheme is being delivered by Lovell as a design and build project for housing association Hedyn, Candleston and Monmouthshire County Council.

Lovell also completed the development at the former Lansdowne Hospital site for its partner Hafod. The scheme provides 106 energy-efficient homes, comprising 44 houses and 62 apartments across three buildings.
