Prospective buyers in Pembrokeshire will have the chance to explore new homes and access free independent mortgage advice as Lovell Homes hosts a New Homes event at its Augustus Grange development in Haverfordwest.

Taking place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May from 10am to 5pm, the event will give visitors the opportunity to tour the development, view available properties, speak with sales executives, and receive mortgage guidance from ABP Mortgages, who will be on-site throughout the weekend.

Located just six miles from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Augustus Grange is a mixed tenure development being delivered in partnership with Pobl Group, comprising 115 two and three-bedroom homes. Of these, 36 are available on the open market, while 79 are affordable homes, including 37 Shared Ownership properties and 42 homes for affordable rent.

The Shared Ownership scheme allows buyers to purchase a minimum 50% share of a property and pay rent on the remaining portion, reducing the upfront costs and mortgage requirements. After a year, homeowners can choose to increase their ownership share up to 100%.

Among the homes available is the popular Lambourne house type, available from £124,998 with Shared Ownership or £249,995 on the open market. This three-bedroom home features a spacious kitchen/dining area, a rear living room with French doors to the garden, three bedrooms including an en suite to the master, and a modern family bathroom.

Suzie Hewitt, Regional Sales Director at Lovell Homes, said: “We are excited to be hosting another New Homes event at Haverfordwest following the success we saw at the previous event back in February.

“Buying a new home is a big decision so we are happy to be able to help buyers access free, independent mortgage advice to help them navigate the process. I would highly encourage anyone who is interested in a home in the area to come along and have all of their questions answered.”

The Augustus Grange development also benefits from its location in Haverfordwest, a historic county town known for its 12th-century castle, riverside setting, and strong commuter links by road and rail. The area offers residents access to coastal scenery, shopping, and local dining options, making it an attractive choice for homebuyers.

The event will also provide details on available purchase schemes, including the Help to Buy – Wales initiative, which has been extended to September 2026, offering further support for buyers entering the market.
