LexisNexis Dragons has appointed Black Swan Agency as its integrated marketing and PR partner, in a move aimed at boosting the franchise’s profile and commercial growth.

The Cardiff-based agency will deliver a comprehensive communications strategy focused on increasing attendances, strengthening fan engagement and expanding the visibility of women’s sport.

The partnership is also expected to support new commercial opportunities as the club looks to build on its position within the Netball Super League.

Founded in 2026 by Charlotte Murphy and Haydn Wakeling, Black Swan Agency has positioned itself as a fast-growing communications business specialising in strategic media relations, values-led storytelling and community-focused campaigns.

The appointment reflects a shared ambition to establish the Dragons as one of the league’s most progressive and high-profile teams, while also advancing the broader profile of women’s sport in Wales.

Charlotte Murphy, Co-Founder, Black Swan Agency, said: “LexisNexis Dragons represent everything we believe great sport can be; community-rooted, female-led, and built on values that resonate far beyond the court.

“This is exactly the kind of partnership Black Swan Agency exists to deliver. We are proud to stand alongside the Dragons and to help tell their story to Wales and the world.”

Wales Netball CEO Sarah Boswell added: “We are delighted to be working with Black Swan Agency as we enter an exciting new chapter for LexisNexis Dragons.

“As we continue to build a sustainable, high-performing franchise, it is critical that our story reaches further, resonates deeper, and reflects the ambition we have for this team.

“We were looking for a partner who understands this is more than a club it is a platform for visibility, opportunity and growth in women’s sport.

“Black Swan Agency brings that understanding, and we’re excited to build something impactful together.”
