The winners of the inaugural Legal News Wales Awards were revealed at a glitzy and glamorous ceremony at Cardiff’s Marriott Hotel last night.

Speaking ahead of the awards being handed out to the best and brightest of Wales’ legal sector, Emma Waddingham, founder and editor of Legal News Wales, told Businessin Wales:

“We’re just one community, and I think that’s something incredibly unique—particularly for a small sector, regardless of which nation you’re based in.

“Within Wales, there are around 4,000 practising solicitors, so for everyone to come together tonight—to bump into people they may have worked with in the past, or referred business to—is amazing.

“No one’s here tonight to drum up business; it’s simply about celebrating and supporting one another.”
