Commercial law firm Darwin Gray has announced a further round of senior promotion and new hires as it continues to expand its team in response to growing demand.

The firm has promoted Sarah Price to Legal Director, following closely on the heels of three recent partner promotions earlier this month.

Sarah first joined Darwin Gray in 2004, spending several years with the business before returning in 2016 as an Associate.

Since then, she has become a key figure within its property team, working across a broad range of commercial property matters including landlord and tenant work, sales and acquisitions, development projects and secured lending.

Her elevation to Legal Director comes as Darwin Gray continues to grow in the commercial property market, with demand driving both internal progression and external recruitment.

Alongside the promotion, the firm has made several new appointments across the business.

Jessica Hayward joins as an Associate in the property team, while Stephen Lummis has been appointed Accounts Manager within the finance function.

The firm has also recruited two new paralegals, Siriol Hughes and Grace Jarrett.

Jessica’s arrival takes Darwin Gray’s property team to 13 members, as the firm continues to build its presence across Wales, including an increasing foothold in north Wales.

The team’s recent shortlisting for ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ at the Insider Property Awards Wales 2026 further underlines its growing reputation in the sector.

Catherine Burke, Partner and Head of Property at Darwin Gray, said: “It’s fantastic to see the team continue to grow in numbers as the firm evolves.

“Sarah’s promotion to Legal Director is extremely well deserved and is an example of the fantastic talent we hold in our property team.

“We are also thrilled to welcome Jessica to the team, bringing with her a wealth of experience in commercial property work including non-contentious landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals and estate management.”

The firm’s Managing Partner, Fflur Jones, said: “At Darwin Gray we are passionate about recognising and rewarding dedication and loyalty.

“We have a fantastic team and it has been a pleasure to celebrate so many recent promotions, as well as welcome new talent into the fold.

“We are continuing our search for the right people to join us as we grow both our Bangor and Cardiff teams.”
