ICC Wales has joined the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO).

The move gives ICC Wales access to the IAPCO Education Programme, including its EDGE seminars, which provide professional development for meetings and events specialists.

Membership will also enable direct engagement with IAPCO members through selected industry events and increase the venue’s visibility across IAPCO communication channels.

Craig Bingham, Managing Director of ICC Wales, said: “Joining IAPCO marks a pivotal strategic step for ICC Wales as we deepen our connections across the international meetings community.

“This exciting collaboration empowers our team to engage directly with IAPCO’s prestigious global network and tap into the transformative learning offered by its renowned EDGE education programme.

“Ultimately, it propels our long-term vision to establish ICC Wales as a world-class venue partner for professional associations and landmark global events, while championing the meetings industry’s ongoing growth and excellence.”

Martin Boyle, Chief Executive Officer of IAPCO, said: “We are pleased to welcome ICC Wales as a Convention Centre Partner for 2026.

“Strategic partnerships with venues that understand the long-term needs of international associations are essential to the continued success of our Members.

“ICC Wales strengthens our partner community by bringing a clear focus on capability development, operational insight, and collaboration.

“This partnership supports our objective of equipping IAPCO Members with access to venues and destinations that enable confident delivery and outstanding outcomes for clients and participants worldwide.”
