ICC Wales appoints Craig Bingham as new Managing Director

ICC Wales has announced the appointment of Craig Bingham as its new Managing Director, marking a significant addition to the leadership team as the venue continues to expand its profile in the global business events sector.
Bingham joins the Newport-based convention centre from Wyndham Hotels, where he served as Head of Global Sales & Sales Operations for the EMEA region.
His career spans senior positions across several high-profile venues and hotel groups, including the QEII Centre, Hilton Metropole, Park Plaza, and The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham. He has also led MICE operations for Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA and is an active member of the industry association beam.
In his new role, Bingham will oversee the operational and sales teams at ICC Wales, focusing on driving business growth, strengthening the venue’s global reach, and shaping future strategy as it continues to attract major international conferences and events.
Julie Hammond, CEO of ICC Wales and The Celtic Collection, said Bingham’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the venue.
