Harding Evans has announced a series of internal promotions as part of its ‘Pathway to Partnership’ programme, underlining its focus on developing talent from within.

The law firm employs around 100 solicitors and support staff and provides legal services to businesses and individuals from offices in Newport and Cardiff.

Family solicitor Rhian Jones has been promoted to Senior Associate. Also promoted to associate roles are Chloe Jones and Hollie Silvester from the Children Law team, Georgia Powell and Omar Hayat from Clinical Negligence, and Rebecca Ferris from Family & Matrimonial.

The firm said the programme provides a structured route for progression to associate, senior associate and partner positions. The pathway is well established, with three current Equity Partners having progressed through the scheme after completing their training contracts at the firm.

Chairman Ken Thomas said: “Developing and retaining staff is one of our top priorities and this is reflected in our desire to promote from within, ensuring that the investment we make in our staff reaps dividends in the future.

“Rhian, Chloe, Georgia, Hollie, Omar and Rebecca are all talented lawyers in their fields, who have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to both the firm and our clients. We are delighted to promote them within our Pathway to Partnership programme, which is key to supporting our retention and development of young talent.”
