Communications agency Four Cymru has announced a new partnership with Wales Tech Week 2025, aligning with the country’s largest international tech summit to promote Welsh innovation, talent, and ambition to a global audience.

The event, powered by Technology Connected, is set to take place from 24–26 November at ICC Wales in Newport, and will bring together a wide range of stakeholders from across the technology ecosystem — including innovators, investors, policymakers, and business leaders. The summit is designed to foster collaboration and showcase how Wales is becoming a hub for emerging technologies and investment.

As part of the international Four Agency Group, Four Cymru will lead on strategic communications, brand storytelling and audience engagement to expand the event’s reach and influence, both in Wales and internationally. With offices in Cardiff, Aberystwyth, London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, Four brings a global footprint to the campaign and aims to amplify the summit’s message across multiple platforms.

Nan Williams, group chief executive of Four and a proud Welsh speaker from North Wales, emphasised the importance of the collaboration.

“Wales Tech Week showcases the very best of Wales on the world stage,” she said.
“Cymru is building a special place in the international technology ecosystem. Small enough to be connected, ambitious enough to deliver worldwide innovation and with the passionate, hardworking ‘DNA’ to build the future as we built the past. At Wales Tech Week that all comes together as nowhere else.”

Highlighting the scope of Wales’s tech strengths, she added: “At Wales Tech Week you can experience the innovation, talent and ambition that make Wales a rising force in global tech. From world-firsts in compound semiconductors to cutting-edge cybersecurity, this is where international opportunity meets Welsh ingenuity.”

Now in its latest edition, Wales Tech Week has rapidly grown into a landmark event for the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) sector and the broader tech community. It aims to break down barriers and create accessible opportunities for sectors starting or accelerating their use of technology to improve performance, sustainability and competitiveness.

The event will explore applications of technology across a broad spectrum, from energy and manufacturing to professional services and finance, and aims to position Wales as a serious player on the international tech stage.

Welcoming the new partnership, Avril Lewis, managing director of Technology Connected, said:
“We’re thrilled to have Four Cymru on board for Wales Tech Week 2025. Their expertise in strategic communications and international reach will be invaluable in helping us tell the story of Welsh innovation to the world. This partnership strengthens our mission to position Wales as a global leader in technology and innovation.”

Four Cymru’s involvement also includes its Difference Makers initiative, which celebrates individuals driving transformative change within their industries. Avril Lewis herself was previously recognised through the programme as one of the key figures shaping the future of technology in Wales.

With ambitions to attract international delegates and media attention, Wales Tech Week 2025 is expected to be a catalyst for investment, collaboration and long-term growth in Wales’s digital economy.

The event will serve not only as a showcase of technological excellence but also as a strategic platform to connect Welsh tech leaders with international opportunities, potentially unlocking new markets and partnerships.

As the November summit approaches, all eyes will be on Newport, and Wales, as the country positions itself as a dynamic force in global technology.
