Floodlighting and Electrical has been confirmed as the sole provider for the hire, installation, removal, and storage of festive lights in Cardiff city centre for the next three years.

The company has been illuminating Cardiff during the Christmas season for over 35 years, working alongside Cardiff Council to enhance the city’s festive displays and create a memorable seasonal experience for shoppers, families, partygoers, and local retailers.

The company expressed excitement about continuing its longstanding relationship with the city.

Gareth Thomas, Managing Director of Floodlighting and Electrical, said: “We are thrilled to sponsor the outstanding Castle Christmas tree lights each year and, over recent years, sponsor the Cardiff Kids at Christmas Project in the newly developed Canal Quarter.

“We are looking forward to seeing the 8 new winners again this year! For what it always a fun filled switch on event.”

Over the next three years, Floodlighting and Electrical will oversee all aspects of Cardiff’s festive lighting programme, maintaining the high standards that have brought seasonal joy to residents and visitors alike for more than three decades.
