MPN Windows, Doors and Conservatories is targeting significant growth after revealing plans for the launch of a new £150,000 showroom investment in Maesteg.
The family-run business, led by Melanie Webster and her son Nathan Webster, is transforming a 5,000 sq. ft former boxing gym on the town’s high street into a new showroom designed to showcase its range of windows, doors, conservatories and living spaces.
The £150,000 investment aims to increase sales by 50% and widen the company’s reach across South Wales.
Customers visiting the new showroom will be able to explore the company’s exclusive ‘Forte’ composite door collection and ‘Extreme’ UPVC window range, alongside CAD/CAM design technology that helps homeowners visualise projects before installation.
The expansion comes as MPN joins the CO Retail Network, becoming the network’s 30th retail partner. With this membership, MPN will receive a new website, branded marketing materials and enhanced digital marketing support, including PPC campaigns and retail video content.
The business currently employs ten people across its retail and installation operations and completes more than 1,000 installations annually. The company said the new showroom is expected to support further recruitment, with plans to create up to ten additional jobs locally.
Melanie said: “2026 is going to be a really big year for MPN and one where we build on over 34 years’ experience in the trade.
“The new showroom should be ready for an official launch at the end of June and will be a big boost to Maesteg’s bustling high street. We’re in the process of renovating the old Boxing Gym to create a modern and welcoming place for people to come in and chat with our experts about doors, windows, conservatories and, increasingly, our popular range of living spaces.
“We’re the only retailer who has access to the ‘Forte’ and ‘Extreme’ ranges in South West Wales and down the M4 corridor – this will be a big selling point as they offer more colours and styles than conventional collections.”
Nathan said: “There’s a real personal approach that can only be generated by a family-run business. That’s what makes us so special and accounts for all the repeat business we’ve enjoyed over the last 34 years…in some instances we’ve had three generations use us.
“The relationship with CO Retail Network will help us extend our reach outside of our traditional customer base. We’re going to be receiving a brand-new, industry-leading website, custom-designed branded brochures and lots of support across digital marketing, including a series of retail videos.”
Greg Kane, CEO of CO Manufacturing said “South West Wales was an area we’d looked at for a while, so to get a company with the local reputation of MPN is a big coup for the network.
“In Melanie and Nathan, we have two people who are hugely committed to delivering exceptional service to existing and new clients and share our values of always going beyond the norm to make sure the perfect install is completed. I’m really excited to see how the new showroom takes shape and how we can help the duo grow.
“This partnership will allow us to accelerate our growing brand in key locations. By being able to rely on industry-leading marketing output, including SEO, PPC and traditional literature, we’ll reach more homeowners than ever before.”
