Kilsby Williams has appointed Margaret Harrison as a director, strengthening its senior leadership team.
Harrison joins the Newport-based independent firm from MHA, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and built extensive experience leading a business services team.
She specialises in advisory and compliance work for audit-exempt SMEs, and in her new role will focus on developing and expanding Kilsby Williams’ services for non-audit clients.
She will work closely with the firm’s partners and its business services, tax and payroll teams.
Margaret said: “I was drawn to working with Kilsby Williams as it has a strong local identity which, as well as being professional and commercial, puts commitment to clients and client service at its core.
These are values which resonate with my own values and which I have worked towards throughout my career.
“The firm has a reputation for being an employer which values and looks after its people, and I’m looking forward to being a part of this team and contributing to its success.”
Jonathan Harrhy, partner at the firm, said: “Margaret’s reputation as a trusted business advisor, built on close client relationships and technical expertise, aligns perfectly with the foundation of our own client service, and we are delighted to welcome her to our team.
“We look forward to seeing her experience and expertise in action to elevate our advisory and compliance services for audit exempt businesses.”
Established in 1991, Kilsby Williams works with clients across south Wales, as well as throughout the UK and internationally, supporting businesses ranging from sole traders to listed groups.
