Cardiff-based fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium has landed three new contracts in the education sector as the new academic year gets underway.

The company will collaborate with Willmott Dixon on two school projects: Glyncoch Primary School in Rhondda Cynon Taf, which is being built to Passivhaus standards, and Airfield Primary Academy, a 630-place school in Weston-super-Mare. Both schools, which are expected to open in 2026, will be designed with sustainability at their core and will also provide facilities for local communities. Dudley’s Aluminium will supply and install Kawneer curtain walling, windows and doors on both builds.

The firm has also secured work with Tilbury Douglas on the Luminous Oak School project in Eastleigh. The new school will provide 125 places for pupils aged eight to sixteen with special educational needs and disabilities. Alongside classrooms and specialised teaching areas, the design incorporates therapy and sensory rooms. For this scheme, Dudley’s Aluminium will fit Metal Technology curtain walling, windows and doors.

Neil Jones, Contracts Director at Dudley’s Aluminium, said:
“We are thrilled to be a part of these three exciting education projects across the UK which will further strengthen the delivery of high-quality opportunities for young people.

“Projects within the education sector have always been a point of pride for us at Dudley’s Aluminium, and we are pleased to be working alongside two experienced contractors to bring these projects to life.”

Founded in 1993, Dudley’s Aluminium provides clients with full in-house design and production services. The firm has delivered projects across education, health, commercial, retail, residential and defence sectors in the UK and Channel Islands.

Its reputation for quality has been underpinned by multiple industry accreditations, including CHAS, Constructionline registration, and BM Trada certification for manufacturing enhanced security products compliant with PAS24:2016 and BS 4873 standards.
