Dudley’s Aluminium announces key promotion

Welsh fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium has promoted Ben Leonard to Production Manager after a decade-long career with the business.

Leonard joined the company in 2016 as an estimator before moving into a procurement role three years later, where he supported production operations and project delivery.

His promotion, confirmed in March, sees him take on responsibility for overseeing the firm’s production processes.

In his new position, Leonard will manage the planning and organisation of production, supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities, coordinate material deliveries and ensure compliance with health and safety standards across the workforce.

Upon his promotion, Ben said: “I am excited to take on this new role and thank Dudley’s for this opportunity.

“The team has been incredibly supportive of my career progression over the last 10 years, particularly Nigel, my predecessor in this role. I look forward to building on the firm’s success.”

His appointment follows the retirement of Nigel Finn, who stepped down in February after 25 years with the company as Production Manager.
