North Wales-based commercial cleaning firm Cleaner Care has reported a 30% increase in turnover, driven by strong growth in the manufacturing, education and medical sectors.
Headquartered in Conwy, the company employs more than 50 staff and delivers cleaning services across the region, from Gwynedd to Deeside and will celebrate its 21st year in business this year.
While Cleaner Care has long been established in the commercial and tourism and hospitality markets, it is now seeing increased demand in other sectors.
“We’ve seen significant growth in areas where quality, compliance and consistency really matter,” said Managing Director Denise Lardner.
“Education, manufacturing and medical settings have become key industries for contract cleaning, which reflects the trust that clients place in our team and standards.”
The business currently provides services to primary and secondary schools, wider education facilities and a growing number of doctors’ surgeries.
Its portfolio has also expanded to include construction projects, with recent work completed at Bangor University, Chester Railway Station and the first Cupra car dealership in North Wales.
Founded in 2005, Cleaner Care has provided cleaning services to hundreds of public and private sector organisations over more than two decades.
Its client base includes national bodies and long-standing regional partners such as The National Trust, RWE, RSPB, Cadnant Planning, COPA Training, Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors and Robertson Geologging Ltd.
“Some of our client relationships go back many years, which says a lot about the way we operate,” Lardner said.
“Our latest partnership is with The Sytner Group, the UK’s leading prestige car retailer, with four sites in Llandudno Junction.
“We’ve always believed in building long-term connections based on reliability, communication and trust.”
As part of its growth strategy, Cleaner Care is investing further in its workforce and operational infrastructure.
Plans are in place to recruit a new operations manager and additional staff, alongside continued skills development for existing employees.
“We have a fantastic team and are proud to create employment here in North Wales,” said Lardner.
“Our growth directly benefits the communities we work in, and during the course of this year we expect to increase numbers by up to 25%, to meet demand and further support the local economy.”
