City Executive Search, Wales’ leading executive search firm specialising in discreet placement of C-suite and board-level talent, has appointed Joanne Edwards as Non-Executive Director to support its continued growth and leadership in the executive recruitment market.

Edwards brings extensive experience in financial services, particularly in change and transformation, and currently serves as a senior executive at Nottingham Building Society.

Her appointment comes as City Executive Search expands its services in CxO, Non-Executive Director (NED) placements, and interim leadership solutions.

The firm said Edwards’ strategic insight will help strengthen its board and enhance its ability to deliver high-impact leadership appointments for clients ranging from FTSE-listed brands to high-growth scale-ups.

“I am thrilled to join City Executive Search as a Non-Executive Director,” said Joanne Edwards.

“This firm has established itself as a trusted partner for exceptional businesses seeking transformative talent, and I look forward to leveraging my background in financial services and organisational leadership to guide its strategic direction.

“Together, we can drive even greater impact in connecting visionary leaders with opportunities that shape industries.”

Dale Williams, Group CEO of City Executive Search, said: “Joanne Edwards is a standout leader whose proven track record in steering organisations through growth and change aligns perfectly with our mission.

“Her expertise will be invaluable as we scale our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are excited to welcome her to the board and are confident she will help us further develop our reputation in the executive search landscape in Wales.”
