Celtic Collection and ICC Wales secure triple shortlisting at 2025 M&IT Awards
The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales have once again earned national recognition, securing nominations in three major categories at the 2025 M&IT Awards, often dubbed the Oscars of the UK’s business events sector.
The prestigious shortlists highlight both the group’s flagship venues and its broader brand excellence, with nominations in the following categories:
- Best Hotel Brand – The Celtic Collection
- Best UK Hotel – Celtic Manor Resort
- Best UK Conference Centre – ICC Wales
Voted for by professionals from across the meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) industry, the M&IT Awards are widely regarded as a benchmark of excellence in service and delivery.
The Celtic Manor Resort, already a ten-time winner in the Best UK Hotel category, continues its run of industry acclaim. Known for its luxury accommodation and high-spec event spaces, the Newport-based resort remains a standout destination for high-profile conferences, incentives, and business events.
Meanwhile, ICC Wales has been named a finalist in the Best UK Conference Centre category for the third consecutive year, after securing the Silver Award in 2023 and 2024. The state-of-the-art venue, which opened in 2019, has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s most versatile and innovative conference centres.
Adding to the group’s accolades, The Celtic Collection itself is shortlisted for Best Hotel Brand, competing against global giants including Hilton, Marriott International, Four Seasons, and IHG Hotels & Resorts — a testament to its growing reputation on the international stage.
