Cardo Group has been named as one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK after securing a place on the prestigious UK Fast Growth Index.
The recognition highlights the rapid rise of the Cardiff-based housing maintenance specialist, which delivers essential property services to social housing providers and public bodies across the country.
The UK Fast Growth Index ranks the 50 fastest-growing firms across seven regions and nations: London, the Midlands and the East of England, the North of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South of England, and Wales.
According to the organisers, the companies listed last year collectively increased their turnover by £9.6 billion between 2021 and 2023 and created 24,000 new jobs in just two years, underlining the impact of high-growth firms on the wider economy.
Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, Founder of the UK Fast Growth Index, said: “The UK Fast Growth Index demonstrates how a small number of fast-growing firms such as Cardo can make a substantial contribution to the UK’s economic landscape, providing real examples of how innovation, enterprise and sheer hard work can make a real difference in all sectors from construction to financial services to technology.”
With operations focused on improving building conditions and supporting community wellbeing, Cardo’s growth reflects increasing demand from housing associations and public sector clients for modern, efficient maintenance services.
