Cardo Group boosts fire safety capabilities with acquisition of Cardiff firm R. Lewis & Co

Cardo Group has completed the acquisition of R. Lewis & Co Ltd, a long-established Cardiff fire protection specialist, in a deal aimed at strengthening the group’s fire safety and compliance capabilities across Wales and the wider UK.

Founded in 1997, R. Lewis & Co has built its reputation over almost 30 years delivering a full range of passive fire protection services, including structural surveys, fire stopping, fire engineering, intumescent coatings, and fire doors, all aimed at helping clients meet compliance requirements and keep buildings safe.

The company is independently accredited by the BRE Loss Prevention Certification Board, with staff trained by leading manufacturers to ensure work is conducted to industry standards.
