Building maintenance and retrofit services firm Cardo Group has acquired Trident Maintenance Services Ltd to strengthen its capabilities across England and Scotland.
The deal brings into the group a business known for delivering building maintenance, refurbishment and improvement programmes to clients spanning social housing, healthcare, education, custodial and commercial sectors.
Trident was founded on a collaborative, people-focused service model and has developed a reputation for technical delivery and reliability across multiple regions.
Kenny Robson, Managing Director of Trident Maintenance Services Ltd, said: “Trident has been a tremendous success story and was built on a very simple principle: if you invest properly in motivated and incentivised people, the results will follow.
“By supporting our teams, empowering their decision-making, and working collaboratively with our clients and supply chain, we’ve built a business that consistently delivers and that people trust.
“Joining Cardo Group marks an exciting next chapter for Trident.
“It gives us the scale, backing and shared ambition to grow sustainably, expand our capabilities across housing, healthcare, education and other key market sectors, and invest even further in our people, while staying true to the values, culture, and standards that have defined Trident from day one.
“I’m genuinely excited about what we can achieve together for our clients, our teams, and the communities we serve.”
Cardo’s Chief Executive, Liam Bevan, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Trident Maintenance Services Ltd into Cardo Group.
“Trident’s people-first culture, strong operational discipline, and trusted client relationships align perfectly with our own values.
“Trident expands our national capabilities, particularly in the north of England, and enhances our offering across Scotland while supporting our long-term strategy of investment in skilled local workforces and supply chains.”
