Cardiff Business Club has confirmed Prostate Cymru as its official charity partner for the 2025/26 season, strengthening links between the Welsh business community and the country’s leading prostate health charity.

The partnership will see Prostate Cymru gain access to the Club’s influential network of senior executives, policy leaders and decision-makers throughout Wales. The charity will feature prominently at events across the season, using the platform to raise awareness, promote early testing, and encourage investment in prostate health research and education.

The announcement comes after Club Chair Phil Jardine joined the final leg of Prostate Cymru’s Big Walk this summer, walking alongside dozens of supporters through Aberystwyth and helping to raise thousands of pounds.

“I was honoured to take part in Prostate Cymru’s Big Walk, and I saw first-hand the incredible energy and dedication the charity puts into its work,” said Jardine.

“Prostate disease remains one of the most common and least talked about conditions affecting men. By supporting Prostate Cymru, we’re not only raising money – we’re helping to change attitudes, promote early testing, and save lives. Our members will be proud to champion such a vital cause throughout the coming season.”

The collaboration will also include fundraising initiatives, content partnerships and targeted engagement opportunities. Club organisers said they wanted to create meaningful connections between business leaders and the charity, highlighting how awareness of prostate health can translate into tangible workplace and community benefits.

Tina Tew, Chief Executive of Prostate Cymru, welcomed the partnership. She said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named the official charity partner for Cardiff Business Club’s 2025/26 season,” she said.

“This partnership provides a powerful platform to speak directly to leaders across Wales and to highlight why awareness, conversation and early action around prostate health are so important. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Club and its members over the coming year to make a lasting impact.”

Prostate Cymru is Wales’ leading prostate health charity, focused on education, community testing and investment in clinical innovation. With prostate cancer now the most common cancer in men, the charity has stressed the importance of ensuring access to information and testing before symptoms emerge.

The Cardiff Business Club’s new season begins in September and runs through to summer 2026.
