Brains Brewery has unveiled a major rebrand, introducing a new logo, a redesigned website, and striking bottle coverings that will roll out across supermarket shelves nationwide.
The refresh, the company’s first in seven years, delivers a contemporary new look while remaining firmly rooted in Brains’ rich brewing heritage.
The redesigned identity aims to honour the brewery’s history while aligning the brand with the tastes and expectations of modern drinkers.
As part of the project, Brains partnered with Cardiff-based design studio Toward, whose creative direction helped develop a visual identity that celebrates the brewery’s legacy while elevating it for a new generation.
The launch marks the first phase of the rebrand, with further elements due to be revealed in the coming months.
Founded in 1882 by Samuel Arthur Brain, the brewery has long been a symbol of Welsh pride and craftsmanship, with more than 140 years of brewing history behind it.
Nick Payne, CEO of Brains, said: “The new rebrand marks a significant milestone for Brains. We wanted to honour the craftsmanship and heritage that have defined us for more than a century, while presenting a bold, modern identity that speaks to today’s drinkers.
“We’re incredibly excited to share this new look and new website, it reflects who we are, where we’ve come from, and the future we’re building.”
