Billions of Pounds in Opportunities Await at Swansea’s Meet the Buyers Expo

Wales’ biggest procurement showcase is back! On 10th September 2025, the Business Wales Meet the Buyers Expo will take over the Swansea Arena, connecting local suppliers with top buyers from across the public and private sectors.
With 60+ exhibitors and an incredible £31.7 billion in live contract opportunities spanning construction, transport, food, healthcare, and more, this free event is a game-changer for Welsh businesses looking to scale, innovate, and secure new deals.
Big names including Transport for Wales, Morgan Sindall, NHS Shared Services Partnership, Crown Commercial Services, Welsh Government, and local authorities will be on hand, alongside expert support organisations like Business Wales, Development Bank of Wales, and Social Business Wales.
Expect inspiring keynotes, practical panel talks, and a dedicated Support Zone offering businesses expert, practical guidance on finding, bidding for and securing contracts.
Deputy First Minister Huw Irranca-Davies MS will open the Expo, championing the role of strong local supply chains in building a resilient Welsh economy.
“I am delighted that we are supporting another round of Expo events to promote our commitment to the Foundational Economy sectors across Wales,” he said.
“These are the parts of the economy which provide the goods and services that we all rely upon, such as care, housing, food and transport.
“The events highlight the important cross-cutting contribution the Foundational Economy makes to supporting local businesses and supply chains, sustaining skilled jobs and helping address the climate crisis.”
