Award-winning Cardiff brand expands with the launch of new Marketing and PR agency

Black Swan Agency has announced its official launch as a full-service agency specialising in marketing and PR growth, catering to service firms and senior brands across Wales and the UK.

The new agency hits the market with the aim to sell outcomes, align with their client’s commercial objectives, and achieve measurable growth.

Black Swan combines the strengths of its two co-founders, Charlotte Murphy and Haydn Wakeling.

Haydn is the founder of Black Swan productions, an award winning, Cardiff-based film and video production agency.

Black Swan Productions produce content for purpose-led brands but also produce original work such as podcasts and films.

Now that agency is expanding into the marketing and PR sector, joining forces with Charlotte Murphy who brings 14 years of specialised experience to the agency.

Charlotte’s career highlights include the founding of a children’s charity, and leading as a Group Marketing Manager for one of Wales’ largest care home groups.

Black Swan aims to work with a distinct clientele comprised of two groups.

The first being professional service firms such as consultancies, technology businesses, legal and financial practices, and corporate advisory firms.

The second group is senior personal brand’s that include the likes of Founders, C-suite executives, independent consultants, and subject matter experts.

Charlotte said: “I have spent my career working inside businesses where the stakes are high and the margin for error is low.

“What I found consistently was that the most capable firms and individuals were losing ground to those who simply communicated better. Black Swan exists to change that equation.”

Haydn added: “Brand storytelling is not a luxury for businesses that have already arrived.

“It is the mechanism by which exceptional businesses become known. We’re building Black Swan Agency to bring that thinking to a broader audience and to hold ourselves accountable for the outcomes it produces.”
