One of Wales’ most dynamic young entrepreneurs will be the keynote guest at the City of Newport Business Club’s latest networking evening later this month.

Hannah Williams, Chief Executive of the Alacrity Foundation, is set to address the event at the Mercure Newport on Upper Dock Street on Thursday, September 18. The session will bring together business leaders and professionals from across the region.

Williams has built a reputation as one of Wales’ most inspiring business figures. She co-founded Tiny Rebel Brewery in 2012, taking on the role of CFO and helping to transform the bold craft beer brand into an award-winning household name.

Two years ago, she was appointed CEO of the Alacrity Foundation, a leading entrepreneurship programme that supports young founders to develop innovative ideas into scalable, investable ventures. In addition to her role at Alacrity, Williams also serves as a Non-Executive Director on several boards, contributing her commercial expertise and start-up knowledge.

Alongside her professional achievements, Williams is a mother of five and a keen traveller, often drawing inspiration from exploring new cultures with her family.

City of Newport Business Club chairman Professor Jonathan Deacon said: “We’re really pleased to have Hannah as our next guest speaker. She brings with her a unique insight into how to turn great ideas into successful businesses, and I am sure our guests will be fascinated by what she has to say.”

Information on membership and sponsorship opportunities is also available here.
