Acquis opens Paris office to expand in French asset finance insurance market

Newport-based asset finance insurance provider Acquis has strengthened its European presence with the opening of a Paris office, appointing senior leadership to drive growth across France and the Benelux region.
The move builds on more than a decade of Acquis’ commercial activity in France and comes as demand for leasing and asset finance accelerates. According to the company’s latest study, 43% of French companies now view leasing or asset finance as their primary financing method — up ten percentage points compared with 2023.
Acquis said its insurance solutions help businesses protect financed assets throughout the life of a contract, an increasingly important service as firms look to preserve cash flow while investing in new equipment.
To lead the new office, Acquis has appointed Frédéric Guez as Regional Manager France & Benelux. Guez, who brings extensive experience in the insurance sector including eight years as president of Assurera, will be responsible for developing Acquis’ business in France, driving revenue growth, structuring local teams, and building strategic partnerships. He will also oversee business development in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, reporting to European Sales Director Martin Lehnert.
At the same time, Cyrille Mascaud has been named Head of Sales France. He will work closely with Guez to identify new market opportunities, strengthen relationships with finance and leasing companies, and support key accounts with their transformation projects.
Lehnert said the expansion underlines Acquis’ focus on meeting the needs of French clients in a fast-changing market.
He said: “Our new Paris office reflects our commitment to being close to our French clients, who are often global players like Acquis, with rapidly evolving needs in a demanding economic environment. With the arrival of Frédéric Guez and Cyrille Mascaud, we are building an experienced and agile team, fully dedicated to supporting the growth of our partners.”
